Douglas is the Chief Operating Officer for Vantage Appliances Inc, a company offering unique appliance repaire service package options that allow clients to choose level of service and prices to suite their individual needs.
Launching his career with 32 years as Service Manager for Runde Appliance Service Ltd, Douglas furthered his knowledge through the completion of Human Relations and Leadership Training for Management courses at Dale Carnegie. Building a reputation as an expert in premier appliance service, Douglas set out to embrace and extend his full spectrum of talents as he joined the ranks of entrepreneurs with the launch of Vantage Appliances Inc in 2008.
With specific expertise in Asko, Sub-Zero, Wolf and La Cornue appliances, Douglas currently hires and trains all staff in alignment with his company’s mission for superior service, all while overseeing the company’s daily operations and maintaining the web and marketing initiatives.
Paralleling his impressive career, Douglas also served as the President of Major Photographics, following his profound interest in photography to lead the company’s photography operations.
